 Location
This magnificent hotel is located in the aristocratic distric of Lapa,
next to the museum of ancient art, and 10 kilometres from the airport,
but very close to the centre. |
Rooms
All the rooms are decorated in different style. 8 of them are decorated
in classical style, with antique furnitures from the 17th century and
wooden polished floor and marble in a typical portuguese style. 22 rooms
are decorated in contemporary style, with a fresh but timeless design in
soft colours. All the rooms have private facilities at the highest
standar, telephone, television and mini-bar. |
Restaurant
Dinner is served in the dining rooms which has tables arranged along big
windows overlooking the terrace. The restaurant serve mainly portuguese
cuisine. |
Exterior
The hotel is was an ex convent, called convento do Marianos, with a
typical 17th centuty facade. |
Lobby
The lobby is of small size but its door leads to a magnificent courtyard
full of flowers and plants, with some table and chairs from where you
can enjoy the view of the city and enjoy drinks and also candlelit
dinners in the summer season. |
