This Switzerland Scenic Train connects the two world famous resorts of St. Moritz and Zermatt, while passing through Chur, Andermatt, and Brig. The journey lasts 7h 30 min., passing through 91 tunnels and crossing 291 bridges and the 2,033m high Oberalp Pass. The Glacier Express is a panoramic trip through the Alpine heartland of Switzerland, and a memorable way of traveling from the eastern to the western Swiss Alps. This comfortable train takes passengers through unspoiled nature, mountain forests and tranquil alpine pastures.

The Glacier Express runs daily in the summer and winter season and offers first and second class cars, panoramic cars and a dining car.
