DAY IN VERSAILLES FOR PARENTS & CHILDREN:

9am. Our licensed, English speaking guide, will pick you up in Paris, at your hotel and drive you to Versailles.

10am. we will arrange a private tour of the castle , exclusive guided tour , with your own guide. The tour will be also based on legends & stories of the versailles history for the children, and depending on their ages, we will then arrange a game as well.

Around NOON, we will then stop for a lunch break , and take you to the wonderful Trianon palace for lunch, on the terrace overlooking the park of the castle.

2PM. A private carriage ride, will pick you up with also your guide, and you will do the Royal tour of the park for one hour, including the trianons, hamlet of the queen, & then finising at the petite venise.

visit of the Potager of the King is fun to do with children, learn on how Louis the XIVth. had his vegetables & fruits grown in the park!

if time permits, rent a bicycle for one hour or fountains shows available to view on week ends only from April to September.

Back to Paris by 6PM.

IMPRESSIONISM DAY / GIVERNY / AUVERS SUR OISE OR VERSAILLES:

9AM we will leave Paris, to go first to Giverny, the house of Claude Monet. We will ask the children to take some color pencils & paper if they wish to draw in Giverny. The house of Claude Monet is a wonderful country house, located in the small village of Giverny. You will also discover the water garden where Monet painted the famous water lilies. Children will have time to draw and paint if they wish.

we will stop in a traditional old mill restaurant near Giverny for lunch.

afternoon, you will have the choice to go to Auvers sur Oise, where Van Gogh used to live and is buried. Or, go on to Versailles castle.

CASTLE of CHANTILLY & THE MUSEUM of the HORSES:

Beautiful castle north of Paris, less known than others, but really beautiful and worth a visit, ex-property of the Duc de Condé, french gardens designed by le Nôtre (same designer of Versailles), Chantilly also has one of the most beautiful & famous library ( of the Duc d'Aumale), books saved during the French Revolution. Paintings, tours of the apartments of the Duc de Condé.

We will take the children through the magnificient Museum of the horses, Considered as one of most beautiful stables in the world, the Musée Vivant du Cheval has become the most visited equestrian site in France, with the exception of several race courses (150,000 visitors per year). Today, it is a genuine institution, known throughout the world. We We will finish the tour by taking the children for a horse carriage ride through the park.

A CASTLE DAY NEAR PARIS & BALLOON FLIGHT!

We will take you from Paris either to visit the castle of Versailles in the afternoon or to the Chartres cathedral. You will leave Paris early afternoon, but we could also do a full day tour . After the visit, we will take you to the castle of Esclimont near Chartres, where children will have time to play in the park, VTT bikes available, Horse riding, archery and quad. We will then arrange a balloon flight for your family, taking off from the castle directly over the Forest of Rambouillet.

A gastronomic dinner will be arranged in the beautiful Salon of the castle and back to Paris after dinner. Or possibility of overnight stay.

NORMANDY LANDING BEACHES BY HELICOPTER FROM PARIS:

Lunch on your own on the beaches, then the driver after the tour will take you back to Caen and you will fly back to Paris.

THE TALES OF PERRAULTS AT THE CASTLE OF BRETEUIL:

Dear Children, we are really happy to welcome you to Breteuil, where the history of France has been specially illustrated with waxwork figures just for you, and where the gardens are waiting for you to discover a host of fairytale characters from the Tales of Perrault, like Tom Thumb, or Sleeping Beauty. [Le Petit Chaperon Rouge] Little Red Riding Hood goes to see her Grandmother in the former "Doll's House".

[Le chat botté] The Stables - A story teller is recounting the tale of Puss in Boots. She is at the Château all Sundays since Easter until November the 11th, and each day during school Holidays (starting nomally at 16.30).

[Arrivé au château] Built in the year 1600 and decorated principally in the 18th century, the Château of Breteuil is located 35 km (22 miles) to the South-west of Paris in the heart of the renowned Valley of Chevreuse.

Castle of MONTE CRISTO (Alexandre Dumas):

Visit the castle of Alexandre Dumas, who wrote the "3 Musketeers" . This castle is near Paris, 22 miles, near St. Germain en Laye. Guided tours for children about the life of Alexandre Dumas and its work. Castle is from the XVIIIth. century.
