Itinerary: Hill Towns &
Vineyards of Piemonte
DAYS 1-2 ~ Fly to
Milan, Italy. Transfer to La Morra,
in the Langhe.
DAY 3 ~ Hike
among vineyards to the hilltop village of
Castiglione Falletto, then on to
Serralunga d'Alba to visit its 14th-century
fortress. Afternoon tour to Grinzane Cavour and
visit the 13th-century castle and museum.
DAY 4 ~ Short
hike to Vergne for lunch at a local inn.
Continue to Barolo, heart of the
production of the world-famous Barolo wine for a
visit to the cellars and wine producing
facilities of a very well known producer.
DAY 5 ~ Hike to
the town of Barbaresco, where we visit a
family-owned winery and taste their Barbaresco
and Barbera wines.
DAY 6 ~ Morning
hike to the villages of Verduno and
Roddi. Lunch at a farmer's house and sample
the local cheese.
DAY 7 ~ Drive to
Torino, afternoon sightseeing.
DAY 8 ~ Guided
tour on foot, visiting the most picturesque and
famous sights.
DAY 9 ~ Return to
Milan and fly home.
