La Residencia, Mallorca, Spain
Located amidst olive and citrus groves on the Spanish island of Mallorca, La Residencia has 45 individual and double rooms offer all the comforts with antique Mallorquin furniture. Some are furnished with beautiful four poster beds. 18 Junior Suites are furnished in antique Mallorquin furniture with each of their own characteristics. Some have private balconies, terraces, living rooms and four poster beds. Three of suites offer the luxury of a private swimming pool.
Just a stone's throw from the clear Mediterranean, the village of Deia provides a truly stunning setting for one of the world's most renowned hotels. Two manor houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, lovingly restored, maintained, and furnished with local antiques and fabrics, provide a house of real style, charm and character.
La Residencia is located in the coastal village of Deia. There are two swimming pools, a lighted tennis court with a tennis pro, a gymnasium, steam room and a beauty center. Tee times at the six 18-hole golf courses on Mallorca can be reserved at the hotel. Other activities include boating excursions, sailing, water-skiing, snorkeling, underwater observation trips and minibus tours of the old city of Palma. The access to the sea, Lluc Alcari, is serviced 4-5 times daily by hotel's minibus (May-Oct).
El Olivo Gastronomique Restaurant. The divine lamb dish is a perfect example of the excellent food served at El Olivo. This romantic restaurant, in a restored olive press, is a great spot to wine and dine someone special - the many wax-drenched candelabra are very nice touches. Service is impeccable, friendly and attentive; including a sommelier at the ready to pair Spanish wines with the delicious local cuisine.

La Residencia will be closed from November 17th through January 29th 2004 (included) due to some refurbishments taking place.
