| Your
Magical Mystery Tour of Beatles Land starts in London, where the Beatles
recorded so many of their famous records and albums. You will explore many
sites associated with the “Fab 4“, accompanied by a Beatles Guide. See Abbey
Road Studios, Masons Yard the home of Indica Books & Gallery, where amongst
other things John Lennon met Yoko Ono, The London Pavilion where three
Beatles Films had their premier, 3 Saville Row, site of the Beatles company
Apple Corps and Apple Studios and many more ! You stay 3 nights in London before taking a leisurely three day sightseeing tour to Bath, via Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral and then through the lovely Cotswolds with its delightful picture postcard villages. On Day 6 you arrive in Liverpool, the home of the Beatles and scene of their earlier triumphs. During your three nights stay you will enjoy a Guided Tour of Liverpool, taking in The Beatles Story Exhibition at the beautifully developed Albert Dock Complex, a Guided Tour with a specialist Beatles Guide, of the many sites in the city, including Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Eleanor Rigby’s statue, the childhood homes of John, Paul, George and Ringo, including “The Mendips” (John Lennon) and 20 Forthlin Road, (Paul McCartney) both now in the hands of the National Trust and many more places which featured in their childhood and early musical careers. You will also enjoy a full day tour through the lovely Wirral Peninsula, visiting Hulme Hall, the Victoria Hall, the Thistle Cafe, and the Barnston Women’s Institute, all places where the Beatles performed in their early years. Also Cynthia Lennon’s home when she met John and “Rembrandt”, the house Paul bought for his father. The tour continues to the attractive Roman city of Chester before returning to your hotel. Finally you drive back to Windsor for your last night in England, with a visit to Royal Windsor Castle, before transferring to the airport for your flight out. During the Tour, it may be possible to attend concerts by Beatles Tribute and other Bands, at supplementary cost and subject to availability.
