Program
Day 1
Arrival to Moscow.
Breathtakingly
beautiful capital of Russia, pervaded with the unique atmosphere of the old and
new ages - old solidity and recent uproar, of a deeply rooted cultural heritage
facing the onslaught of the latest Western life styles.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Accommodation at the hotel (“Ukraina” /”Cosmos”).
Check in, registration.
City Tour round the most beautiful places of Moscow (the Cathedral of
St.Basil the Blessed, the Tverskaya street which is very animated and saucy, the
former headquarters of the KGB, University located in Lenin’s Hills considered
to be the highest point of the city, Russian White House, Kutuzov street and the
Victory Park with it’s fountains and churches, etc)

2
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin & Kremlin Cathedrals.
The Kremlin has always been perceived as the symbol of power & might of the
Russian land. Each era of Russian history left it’s architectural mark on the
Kremlin. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments,
churches, cathedrals, museums, etc.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Tour of Kolomenskoe. Kolomenskoye - is the unique artistic, historical,
architectural and natured-landscape museum situated in the South region of
Moscow not far from the city center.
Return to the hotel.

3
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour to the Tretyakov State Gallery. The
Tretyakov State Gallery - one of the world’s largest museums, a treasure
house of old Russian art from the 11th century. The gallery bears the name of
its founder, Pavel Tretyakov, a rich Russian manufacturer and patron of art. He
presented his collection to the city of Moscow in 1892. Now the Tretyakov
Gallery holds more than 50000 works of paintings, graphic art and sculpture.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Free time.
Night performance: Circus.
Transfer to/from the performance.

4
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Tver by bus. After the collapse of
Communism in 1990, this colorful city known since 1920 as Kalinin changed its
name back to the original Tver. Although several of Tver's great 18th century
monuments were destroyed in the famous fire of 1763, the city was beautifully
redesigned leaving its feudal squares and two central boulevards intact. Among
the writers who lived in Tver was the great Dostoyevsky.
Tver City Tour - you will become acquainted with the architecture, history
and present day life of the Tver. Among the rich parade of sights to be enjoyed
will be Church of the Ascension, Museum of Tver Peasant Life, Youth Theater
etc….
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Departure to Novgorod by bus. One of the oldest towns in Russia, founded
over 1100 years ago and is regarded as the “cradle of Russian culture”. Unique
architecture, famous school of icon-painting, prosperous commerce of an
important member of the Hansa, independent and democratic government
distinguished the city Novgorod among others.
Transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Novgorod City Tour - you will see the Novgorod Kremlin
(St. Sofia Cathedral, Palace of Chamber), Historical Museum, St.George Monastery
Museum of the ancient Wooden Architecture.
Free time.
Dinner in one of the towers of Novgorod Kremlin - “Detinets” restaurant.
Return to the hotel.

6
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to St.-Petersburg by bus. St.-Petersburg is
one of the most beautiful cities of the world. “The City of the White Nights”,
“The Northern Palmira” will never make anyone indifferent to it’s enchanted
beauty. Foreign travelers tend to feel at home in St. Petersburg. The grand
Nevsky Prospekt Boulevard, the neo-classical and baroque palaces bestriding the
rivers, the vast exhibition halls of the Hermitage, the sweeping embankment
parks and grandiose monuments - all fit the familiar magnificence of a few great
European capitals.
Transfer to the hotel.

Lunch at the hotel’s restaurant.
Panoramic City Tour - all Major City highlights in the course of three hours
tour including visit to the St. Isaac’s Cathedral - the forth-highest
cathedral in the world with breathtaking design.

7
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour of the Petrodvorets (Petergoph). In the huge park
on the bank of the Gulf of Finland, beautiful and elegant palaces and pavilions
of "The Russian Versailles" Petergoph (the ancient name of Petrodvorets) are
located. Petrodvorets is famous for its beautiful fountains splendidly matching
the park landscape. It has marvelous man-made lakes and gorgeous interiors of
the Great Palace.

Cultural performance (Hermitage Theatre)

8
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour of the Yusupov Palace - the richest of
non-imperial of St.-Petersburg, which was home of powerful Yusupov family and
known as the palace of mysterious assassination of notorious Rasputin.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Excursion to the Hermitage Museum - the Hermitage ranks among the world's
major museums. Its collection consists of nearly three million art objects.
Exhibits are displayed in the Winter Palace, as well as the Small, Old and New
Hermitages. Concerts and ballet performances are given in the former Hermitage
Theater. The Hermitage collection has six departments: West European art, the
Antique world, primitive culture, Oriental culture and art, the history of
Russian culture, as well as numismatics.
Return to the hotel.
