Not far from Madrid City stretches the only Denomination of Origin in the world close to a big capital. It is in fact one of the hidden treasures of this enchanting region: a vivid city surrounded by peaceful vineyards. The territory of the Denomination is divided into three sub-regions, being the one at the East of the city the one that we propose you to experience.
The wineries that we will be visiting are the best example of the global shift in winemaking in Madrid that has taken place over the last decade. Nowadays some selected “bodegas” in Madrid are placed, with no doubt, amongst the best in Spain. In this amazing wine journey you’ll enjoy visiting:

The towns you’ll visit will show you a completely different picture of Madrid region, from the always bubbling city to the traditional medieval town of Chinchón (pictured below its famous Plaza) and the monumental Royal Place of Aranjuez (in the picture the magnificent Royal Palace). You’ll enjoy a sumptuous lunch in one of the beautiful restaurants placed within the historic Plaza of Chinchón, an exclusive place for an unforgettable wine journey!
