Gastronomic Weekend

Donostia-San Sebastian is a coastal city situated in the Basque Country.
The visit through the city is relaxed, with beautiful natural views. You can find beautiful mountain places, out from the traffic of the city, in very few minutes walking from the city, like the case of Urgull, or Igeldo (excellent views to the bay, where you can take a XIX century's funicular to go up), or the less known Ulia.

Concha's Bay: one of the most known and carismatic areas of the city. Its walk is worldwide famous and must-do for visitors, and its beach, the most aristocratic of the three that the city has.

Come and walk through San Sebastian: get to know it and enjoy it. We have laid it out for you at your feet.

Program

Day 1, Saturday:
• Accommodation in a 4* hotel in the center of the city.
• 4 hour gastronomic-cultural tour of the old city
Your food and wine specialized guide will lead you on a walk through the old quarter.
The Parte Vieja (Old Quarter) of Donostia is a district of narrow, cobbled streets, containing the oldest buildings in the city. It is also the most important area for dining, drinking and entertainment. The old quarter is not very old; the great fire of 31 August 1813 marked the beginning of the rebuilding of the city as it is today.
During the tour we will go to Puerto Street where we will find pintxo bars (these are small morsels to accompany your drink; in the Basque Country people tend to say pintxo rather than tapa) on the way to Plaza de la Constitución (Constitution Square). Plaza de la Constitución is one of the prettiest parts of the city. We will stop at 3 different typical bars to taste a different pintxo (tapa) en each one with a drink

Day 2, Sunday:
• Breakfast and day to enjoy on your own

Program includes:
• Cultural and Pintxos walking tour with an specialized gourmet guide
• 3 gourmet tapas, hot and cold
• 3 drinks
• 1 night accommodation with breakfast in a 4* hotel in the city centre

Not Included:
• Travel to and from Spain, and Barcelona
• Optional excursions, expenses and meals
