A taste of Priorat

This culinary vacation program will enable you to attain a very good knowledge of Catalan cuisine. The different meals you will be having at the private cooking school and in local restaurants, will allow you to sample a wide variety of different Catalan dishes.

The Priorat and Montsant wines will no longer be a secret to you after the wine tasting session, and the many trips to vineyards and a wine museum. You will not only love the olive oil that you will be using on a daily basis, but you will also get a chance to see how it is made.
The daily excursions will unveil most of the Priorat and its history so that when the time comes to leave, you will truly feel you have discovered the essence of this beautiful region.

This is also your vacation and so we want you to have time to relax as well, and if you have any requests for a change in the planned schedule, we will surely try and accommodate your needs.

6 days program

This culinary vacation program in embedded within the 8-day program for those that do not have the time for a longer stay.
The session either starts on a Tuesday morning and ends on a Sunday morning, or starts on a Thursday morning and ends on the following Tuesday morning.

Program includes:
• A trilingual chef will be your guide for all the program.
• Transport to and from the Barcelona airport to El Masroig
• Welcome apéritif
• 5 nights accommodation
• All the Catalan cooking classes with necessary materials
• All meals for which we use only the best and freshest ingredients
• All restaurant meals,
• All high quality Priorat wines
• Diploma, cookbook, apron and gift.
• Transport and entrance fees for all of the excursions

Not Included:
• Travel to and from Spain, and Barcelona
• Optional excursions, expenses and meal

*Note: If the session starts on a Tuesday the pick-up is in Barcelona with our own minibus, and return is via a contracted taxi service.
If the session starts on a Thursday the pick-up is via a contracted Taxi service, and we will return you to Barcelona along with the other 8-day session guests in our own minibus.
If there are no 8 day session guests during this time, then we will do both pick-up and return to Barcelona in our own minibus.
* All winery visits are quite extensive and include full tour of the premises, complete explanations of how their wines are made, wine tasting, etc...
