in the heart of La Rambla, is one of Barcelona's most interesting
markets and the most visited market of Europe. It is a place where you
can enjoy a lively, vibrant atmosphere in surroundings where the cries
of the stallholders and the daily bustle intermingle. It is arguably one
of the best places to get to know the character of the people of
Barcelona, where making a purchase is not just a mere financial
transaction but goes much further in the sphere of human relations. |
Your food and wine specialized guide will
lead you on a walk through the old town, Petrixol, via the historic
cathedral, Picasso’s Museum (visit included) and Santa Maria del Mar. En

Day 3, Saturday: Modernist Sweet Barcelona
• Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
• Your specialized food and wine guide will pick you up at the hotel to
start the sweet and modernism walking tour in Paseo de Gracia. La
Pedrera will be our first visit. It is one of the main Gaudí residential
buildings and one of the most imaginative houses of the architecture
history, this building is more a sculpture that a building.
En route to the restaurant for lunch we will visit other modernist
buildings like Casa Batlló, one of the most singular buildings of the
city. We’ll visit the most emblematic places related to sweets. Casa
Amatller makes a good starting point for chocolate lovers to explore the
city. Marvel at the Modernist architecture paid for by the profits from
Catalonia’s oldest surviving chocolate brand, set up in 1798. The next
stop will take you into the world of the old-fashioned confectioners. |

|
• We will stop
for a tasty lunch at a restaurant in the gothic quarter of Barcelona, a
place inspired in the old European taverns that played the roles of
restaurant, space for relationships and celebrations. A gastronomic concept

with Mediterranean and creativity touches.

Born, via Santa Maria del Mar we will arrive to the Chocolate museum. Guided
visit and chocolate tasting course.
