Copenhagen – full day:
A. Your guide will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.30 AM for your overview tour of Copenhagen. This morning you will enjoy a guided Canal Tour. The tour begins in Nyhavn and is sailing around the Canal system of Copenhagen - a fantastic tour.
Afterwards your guide and driver will take you to The Little Mermaid where the guide will tell about H.C. Andersen and his fairy tale The Little Mermaid. You will drive past Kastellet (Copenhagen’s defence citadel from 1663) and have a quick glance at this interesting area. Continue to Amalienborg Palace (The residence of The Royal family) to see the change of the guards and Amalie Garden right by Langelinie the coastline where the yachts arrive.
Lunch:
Today we have reserved a table for you at a wonderful restaurant called Kommandøren in Nyhavn 15 (right by the old Canal) where you can eat outside as well as inside. They serve very good traditional Danish food. (Please note that the cost of lunch is not included in the program).
Afterwards a visit inside Rosenborg Castle, the fantastic fairy tale summer residence that Christian IV build from 1606-34 with the famous crown Jewels. Drive to see the Copenhagen Cathedral and the Copenhagen University, the Round Tower and the Church Of Holy Trinity from the outside.
Transfer to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptothek Art Museum, which houses a collection of ancient Egyptian and Roman art to the Modern Collection, which contains Danish and French paintings and sculptures from the 19th century.

Environs and Copenhagen – full day:
B. Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.30 Am for your tour of the environs. This morning you will drive to Frilandsmuseet 15 km outside Copenhagen in Lyngby-Brede. In the village there is about 45 houses, farms and mills dating more than 300 years back. Frilandsmuseet is the oldest and biggest village in the world.
Lunch:
Today we have reserved a table for you at a really nice restaurant called Café à Porta at Kongens Nytorv (very close to your hotel) the food is excellent and it’s a Danish/French cousine. (Please note that the cost of lunch is not included in the program).
Visit inside Christiansborg Castle at 3 Pm (The Danish Parliament) to see The Queen’s Tapestries in The Royal Reception Rooms. Afterwards your guide and driver will take you to the other end of town to see some amazing Glasswork where you will see how they blow the glass. You will be able to buy some of the unique things they make there.
The guide & driver will take you around the area to see the highlights - the antique shops and the historical buildings in Nyhavn (by the Canals).

C. Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.30 Am for your tour. This morning you will visit The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory a bit outside central Copenhagen. Is an opportunity to see the world famous porcelain being painted. Also enjoy the exhibition with a unique collection of older masterpieces and discover the factory shop.

The Danes are famous for their Architecture and Design. It’s an exhibition that is a must for those interested in this subject – at the centre there is also a bookshop.
Afterwards you have a tour around Christiania the famous Freetown and society where a group of citizens knocked down the fence to a military property about 25 years ago. They are completely self sufficient with more or less everything. The have a very special place for children with amazing architecture that they have built them self’s. It’s a very different and rather special place that should be seen.

The Viking Tour – full day:
A. Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.00 Am for your tour of the environs. Today you are going to Roskilde-The Viking Town located about 45 min. from Copenhagen. You will be taken thousands of years back into history when introduced to the bronze age and the intriguing history of the Vikings.
We visit the Viking Ship Museum, set in the Vikings natural harbour, today called Roskilde Fjord. These Viking ships have been carefully restored and are the most important discovery ever made in Denmark from this ancient period.
Lunch:
Today we have reserved a table for you at Lindenborg Kro a lovely and very romantic inn with a view over Roskilde fjord. They serve very good traditional Danish food and they have a very kind staff.

After this you can take a tour of the city of Roskilde, which was the capital of Denmark in ancient times. Here you can pay a visit to the great Romanesque Roskilde Cathedral with its 38 royal tombs. This tour to Roskilde will reveal many secrets about the daily life of our forefathers. You will also have plenty of time to walk around in Roskilde to do shopping if you like.
If the weather allows you will also visit Lejre Research Centre inside, where you can seek new knowledge of the life and activities of our forefathers through the questions which arise during the practical work of reconstructing the clothes, houses, agriculture, pottery, utensils and so on, of the past. You will find a reconstructed Iron Age village, a smallholder's collage from the 1850's and an area with burial monuments from Danish prehistory. Otherwise you will be able to see it for the outside!

Castle Tour of North Zealand – full day:
B. Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.00 Am for your tour of the environs. Today you are going on The North Zealand Castle Tour. As we leave Copenhagen and head north, for almost a whole hour, the coastline of Sweden follows us.
We drive through magnificent Danish countryside and coastline to Elsinore and Kronborg Castle. It is quite easy to understand why William Shakespeare chose Elsinore Castle as the setting for his famous play 'Hamlet'. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and feel the atmosphere taken through the Chapel and the Knights' Hall (the longest room in Northern Europe) and the dark casemates. You will see the Castle from the inside.
Lunch:
Today we have reserved a table for you at Fredensborg Store Kro (inn). In this magnificent and elegant restaurant you can enjoy the best of the Danish/French cousine. But more than a culinary treat awaits you. The decor of the rooms and the atmosphere make the guests feel the history and traditions from the many royal parties and celebrations that has taken place both at the inn and the castle. (Please note that the cost of lunch is not included in the program).
After the break, the tour continues to Fredensborg Castle. At the residence of Fredensborg palace the Queen spends most of the summer. It’s attractively located in the middle of a lovely park, bordering the idyllic Esrom Lake. You will see the Castle from the outside.
Continue to Hillerød where the next highlight on this tour is Frederiksborg Castle, built by King Christian IV. This pearl of history, built in magnificent Renaissance style, is now a national historical museum. It contains paintings, tapestries, porcelain, silver and furniture of great historical value. This tour is the classic amongst excursions while visiting Denmark. You will experience the Castle inside and also see the beautiful Baroque Garden with many flowers.

C. Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel this morning at 9.00 Am for your tour of the environs. Today you are going on The North Zealand Art & Castle Tour beginning with a drive along the coastal road.
The first visit is Karen Blixen’s home in Rungstedlund. In America Blixen is known as Isak Dinesen. Blixen has written many books and short stories. But most of all, she is know for Out of Africa a 1937 biographical account of running a coffee plantation in Kenya that in the 80's became a Hollywood film.
Your driver and guide will also take you to the famous Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. The exhibitions at Louisiana are always of extremely high quality, featuring top names in art of today and yesterday.

The guide will take you through the old city with the atmosphere of crooked back streets, quaint buildings, alleyways and charming "hidden" squares, pass famous landmarks and important museums, enter churches, and go into secret courtyards. You will hear about the lifestyle of the locals, the famous Danes, past and present. The guide will take you to some of the important shopping places and to The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain shop on Strøget. In between you will be able to relax at one of the outside Café’s. (Guide only)
Copenhagen Walking Tour "Jewish old city – 300 of Jewish history" – half day:
B. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for your walking tour of the city. You will hear about the long journey of the Danish Jews through Europe, via Hamburg to the safe haven of the Kingdom of Denmark. Discover their influence on Danish culture and hear about some of the interesting and influential personalities who contributed to local Danish life over 300 years. You will be informed of the present day Jewish community, its size and the various components that went into its making. The story of the five dark years under Nazi occupation, the deeds of the Danes and their king, Christian X will not be forgotten. You will see some the interesting Jewish place and to the Great Synagogue. The guide will take you to some of the important shopping places and to The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain shop on Strøget. A. Tonight you are going to visit and explore the world famous Tivoli Gardens. This evening we have made reservation at Restaurant Nimb a fantastic place built like a fairytale castle from "1001 Nights". The restaurant has a unique view over the garden. It’s an exclusive and elegant gourmet restaurant with very good food and a wonderful atmosphere.
In Tivoli you will see a wealth of exotic flowers, fountains and experiences. In the evening Tivoli is illuminated by thousands of lights - offering the guests a lot of different choices of music, artist- and vaudeville performances.
Evening and dinner arrangement: Home Hosted Dinner
B. Tonight you are going to Meet The Danes an authentic Danish dining experience where you visit and dine together with the Danes in their candlelit home. This is the absolute best way of becoming acquainted with the Danish lifestyle and culture. This event has become a great success for tourist around the world.

Evening and dinner arrangement: Sankt Gertrud's Convent
C. This evening we have made reservation at Sankt Gertrud's Convent, one of Copenhagen's most unique restaurants. The anonymity of the building's facade, just behind Kultorvet, makes the restaurant's extraordinary interior even more striking once you step down into the labyrinth of its cellar. The restaurant is located in the underground of what remains of a 14th century chapel/convent. You can expect anything from classics of finer gastronomy to creative international modern cuisine.
Evening and dinner arrangement: Restaurant Grønnegade
D. This evening we have made reservation at Restaurant Grønnegade that is situated in the heart of Copenhagen, only within a stone's throw from Kongens Nytorv, (where our hotel is) in one of the eldest houses in Copenhagen from the year 1689. The house has been a restaurant for nearly 300 years and has been visited by many guests over the years. Restaurant Grønnegade attach importance to the use of the best foodstuffs, and therefore only get delivered the same day of use from selected manufactures and suppliers from Denmark and France. The kitchen is inspired by the modern French kitchen and is concerned with the composition of taste and simplicity in every dish. The Restaurant have been decorated by the artist Tage Andersen among others and you will find a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
