is a more intimate retreat with 60 terrace suites, six with Jacuzzi. Spa packages include meals, a garden terrace room, all-fitness yoga, Spanish and craft classes and services depending on package. Las Quintas also offers special program called Passage Points, which combines spa and tour services. Each package has points that can be redeemed either for treatments or tours - many of each are quite unique.

Maruba Resort
Maruba Jungle Resort and Spa is a unique resort accommodating only 20 people nestled deep in the Mayan jungles of Belize, yet just 30 minutes outside of Belize City. The resort has been designed to blend various Mayan, Creole and African designs into the jungle setting. The result is a dreamy, romantic, totally relaxing and artistically natural environment. The accommodations are comfortable and creative using local materials from the jungle. Each room is decorated differently, from the jungle canopy to cabanas set admist pineapple fields and coconut palms. A variety of adventure tours are offered including a fascinating jungle river trip to the spectacular ruin of Lamina, a tour to Altun Ha, jungle hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding. The jungle around the resort is abundant with wildlife, including the rare black howler monkey, parrots, the Keel Billed Toucan and the Jabiry Stork. Daily nature walks include visits to Mayan ruins and discussion on the practical and medicinal uses of local indigenous plants found on the 4,000 acres of gardens, orchards and rainforest. Scuba diving, fishing and birdwatching is also available. Marabu is dedicated to preserving the rainforest and this is emphasized in the health and rejuvenation programs. A local herbalist designs all of the exotic body treatments from local, natural ingredients and aromatic massages, body scrubs and wraps here are truly wonderful. The spa cuisine centers around organic fruits and vegetables from the resort's gardens and fresh seafood, including lobster and grouper. After touring the rain forest, river or ruins, the jungle falls swimming pool awaits, and the Japanese hot tub filled with exotic minerals makes evening star gazing an unforgettable experience.
