Point Pleasant Resort has 134 spacious suites nestled in 15 acres of lush tropical gardens, on the northeastern shore of St. Thomas. There are three swimming pools and sundecks. Sugar Beach and Pineapple Beach are nearby. Bayside Cafe serves three meals daily. Agave Terrace is a gourmet restaurant open for dinners, with live steel drum music two nights weekly. Lookout Lounge Bar offers spectacular views. There are also a gift shop, activities area and watersports center.
Guests enjoy complimentary use of the tennis courts, exercise room, windsurfers, snorkel equipment, sunfish sailboats, and an introductory scuba lesson. The fitness center has a treadmill, Stair-Master, exercise bicycles and free weights. Tennis courts are lighted for night play. Guests may use a rental car for four hours daily and pay only the tax, insurance and gas.
All suites have a private balcony with outstanding ocean views, air conditioning, satellite television, and AM/FM clock radio. Each suite has an in-room safe, ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, and data port/fax modem. Kitchens are fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, and stove with oven.
Junior Suites have 500 sq. ft. of living space. There is a combined living/dining/kitchen area and bedroom with queen bed. Superior Suites (900 sq. ft.) have one bedroom with king bed, and a separate living, dining and kitchen area. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper.
Deluxe Suites (1200 sq. ft.) have one bedroom with king bed and two baths. The sunken living room has a queen sofa sleeper, and there are separate dining and kitchen areas. Two Bedroom Suites are large with 1600 sq. ft, and have two baths, a spacious living room, separate dining room and a kitchen area. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom two twins, and the living room has a queen sofa sleeper.
