transatlantic flight to Cape Town, South Africa.
Day 2: Cape Town
Our visit to South Africa begins with an inspirational tour of District
Six and the Townships of Langa and Khayelitsha. We go "beyond the
rainbow curtain" to experience the spirit of hope, reconstruction and
development existing amongst the people of these communities.

Day 3: Cape Town
The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point are the highlights
of this morning's sightseeing. After a splendid lunch, the local

Day 4: Cape Town
We have a day at leisure to enjoy the vibrant V&A Waterfront.

Day 5: Cape Town - Thornybush Game
Reserve
This morning we fly to Hoedspruit and continue by road to Thornybush.
The lodge's water hole offers an excellent chance for spotting our first

Day 6: Thornybush Game Reserve
Nestled in the heart of Big Five country, the Thornybush Game Reserve
boasts 10,000 hectares of private African Bushveld adjacent to the
Greater Kruger National Park. Our time here is at leisure to enjoy the
game-viewing activities offered by the lodge. On safari we can expect to
see a variety of animals including lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe and
a sampling of more than 340 species of birds. Thornybush Main

Day 7: Thornybush Game Reserve -
Johannesburg
There may be time for a final game drive this morning before flying to
Johannesburg where, after a brief city tour, we end our day at the
exquisite Grace Hotel in Rosebank. The Grace B
Day 8: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls,
Zimbabwe
This morning we fly to Victoria Falls. Our lodge, only minutes from the
roaring Falls, enjoys stunning sunsets and regular visits by elephant
and buffalo to the local waterhole. Optional activities are available
before we depart on our late-afternoon Zambezi River sundowner cruise.

Day 9: Victoria Falls
A guided walking tour brings us face to face with the mighty Victoria
Falls - "the smoke that thunders." With an average flow of 120 million
gallons of water per minute, the Falls never fail to impress even the
most experienced traveller. We have the afternoon to enjoy some of the
area's many pursuits on our own before this evening's farewell dinner.

Day 10: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg

Bid a fond farewell to the roaring Falls as we transfer to the airport
for our flight to Johannesburg and points beyond. B
Day 11: USA or Canada
After arriving in Atlanta, connect to a homebound flight.
